Our Story
Sefton Hall, or more commonly known by its management division, Quantum Management, is a family-owned and operated CRE company driven by its dedication to delivering exceptional returns on real estate investments. With a small, yet highly efficient team, we take pride in our commitment to delivering quality results.
Established in 2011, we began operations in Florida, specifically with multifamily assets. In 2018, we expanded by adding retail assets to our investment and management portfolio. Since the typical investment period for any individual project is four years, even as we acquire new properties there tends to be little variance in portfolio size due to the perpetual turnover of properties.
At Sefton Hall, we believe in building strong relationships with our investors, tenants, and business partners. Our hands-on approach enables us to understand and address the unique needs of each property, ensuring that it thrives under our management. With Sefton Hall being the largest single shareholder in the portfolio, it can be assured that we imbue our work with great care and responsibility. As Warren Buffet said, “We eat our own cooking”.

Our Business Model
Sefton Hall’s business model is predicated on the idea of acquiring distressed properties and “rehabilitating” the asset through thorough physical renovation and robust leasing practices. Physical renovation is performed upfront (first 18 months) to command higher rents shortly after acquisition. The remainder of the ownership period (24-30 months) is used to maximize potential income through the raising of rents to market standard. Once the property is stabilized and supports a strong cash flow, it is marketed for sale.
Our Team
Stephen Briggs
Steve founded Sefton Hall in 2011 after realizing an opportunity to invest in Florida CRE following the Great Financial Crisis. Steve not only guides Sefton’s day-to-day operations, but also manages the company’s long-term vision and mission.
Steve is a chartered accountant by trade and spent many years in the professional industry before pursuing his entrepreneurial ambitions. In his personal time, you’re likely to find Steve in a book, or boating on Lake Simcoe.

Hunter Briggs
Hunter joined Sefton Hall in 2016. At Sefton, Hunter oversees all investment operations which include contract renewals, lease negotiations, acquisition underwriting and construction management.
Hunter’s background is in real estate, having completed the salesperson registration program at the Ontario Real Estate College. In his personal time, Hunter enjoys spending time with his family, the outdoors and watching sports (Go Leafs!).

Quentin Briggs
Quentin joined Sefton Hall in 2021. Quentin is responsible for analyzing new investment opportunities and monitoring the health of current projects.
Quentin’s background is originally in Sports Broadcasting, having graduated from the College of Sports Media in 2019. His creativity and knack for statistics transcends from sports into the world of CRE.
In his personal time, Quentin likes spending time with his family, trying new recipes and cheering for the Buffalo Bills.
